MEMPHIS, Tenn. ? There's a glass case in a room on Graceland's first floor that holds a small white fur coat, a photo album of Elvis Presley's family, and a blue record player used by his daughter, Lisa Marie.

Steps away, in its own display case, rests the well-worn key used to operate a golf cart she would ride in with her father on the grounds of his Memphis home. Pictures of Elvis and his baby daughter line adjacent walls.

These items are part of an exhibit opening Wednesday that honors the relationship Lisa Marie Presley had with her father, the late rock and roll icon Elvis Presley. Lisa Marie was in Memphis on Tuesday and Wednesday ? her 44th birthday ? in order to attend the exhibit's opening to VIP fans.

There are about 200 items in the exhibit, which Lisa Marie Presley called subjective and personal.

"I'm proud to be my father's daughter because that is something that changed the world," she told The Associated Press. "I do feel honored about that."

Presley discussed a variety of topics, including a new album and thoughts about making a proper film about her father, who died in Memphis on Aug. 16, 1977. This year marks the 35th anniversary of his death, which is observed with a weeklong gathering of Elvis fans in August of every year.

Presley left Graceland at 5 years old when her mother, Priscilla, divorced Elvis and moved to California. She currently has homes in Los Angeles and England.

She did not want to talk at length about late pop star Michael Jackson, her former husband. The exhibit does display a photo of her and Jackson visiting a children's hospital in Budapest, Hungary.

"It was just one of the moments that was captured ... we were helping this child get a liver transplant," she said.

When asked what comes to mind when she thinks of Jackson, she said: "I can only say that I have good memories."

Presley said she has been working on her music and her third album and set to come out in May. It is produced by Grammy-winner T-Bone Burnett.

"It's much more of a rootsy record, organic record, than my previous work," she said.

Presley has spent much of the past few years taking care of her 3-year-old twin daughters she had with current husband Michael Lockwood. She has two children from her previous marriage to musician Danny Keough, which ended in 1994. She also was married to actor Nicholas Cage.

Presley does not grant many interviews but said she doesn't mind them when they are for a good cause. She said she does not like the tabloids.

Still, she stays involved with the workings of Elvis Presley Enterprises, which licenses her father's name and image in merchandising, music, television and film. Likenesses of Elvis have appeared in countless movies and TV shows, some without permission from the company.

Presley said she sometimes doesn't enjoy how her father is portrayed.

"There can be a sort of cheesy take on him, which I don't always love sometimes ? you know, the later years and that whole thing with his white jumpsuit," she said. "Now I'm probably over it. But I mean it was kind of running wild for a while. It was a little bit cringe-worthy."

Presley said she's discussed making a film about her father that captures the true Elvis.

"There's not been anything done properly with him yet, you know, that has satisfied me in terms of capturing everything," she said. "It will happen, though."

Presley said she is happy that Elvis Presley Enterprises is back in the hands of a private company, Apollo Management Group. The private equity group purchased CKx Inc., which owns Elvis Presley Enterprises and the "American Idol" franchise, in May 2011.

She likes the idea of updating exhibits and the Heartbreak Hotel at the Graceland tourist attraction, which is across the street from the home. She also would like to see revitalization of the poverty-stricken neighborhoods near Elvis Presley Boulevard.

"It makes me sad to see that, it does, because I remember when it wasn't there," she said. "I don't like to see that anywhere I am, to be honest."

Memphis officials have for years talked about improving some of the areas around Graceland, but nothing has been done. Graceland is one of Tennessee's most visited tourist attractions and lures thousands of fans each year for a candlelight vigil to remember Elvis' death.

Officials anticipate a crowd next August that could match or exceed the 75,000 people who showed up at Graceland in 2007 for the 30th anniversary.

As for the exhibit, "Elvis Through His Daughter's Eyes," Presley said one of her favorite items is the golf cart key because it helps her recall the times when she was alone with her father, riding around the neighborhood.

"That was my life," she said. "I carried it everywhere. It was never far from me or not on my person when I was a child. I hadn't seen it in 35 years."

It seems clear that Presley is enjoying being back at Graceland. She smiles when she remembers waiting for her father to come down the stairs in the afternoon, in full regalia.

"He was always fully, fully geared up. You'd never see him in his pajamas coming down the steps, ever," she said. "You'd never seen him anything but `ready to be seen' attire."

Feds' secret no-fly list more than doubles in a year

WASHINGTON?? Even as the Obama administration says it's close to defeating al-Qaida, the size of the government's secret list of suspected terrorists who are banned from flying to or within the United States has more than doubled in the past year, The Associated Press has learned.

The no-fly list jumped from about 10,000 known or suspected terrorists one year ago to about 21,000, according to government figures provided to the AP.

Most people on the list are from other countries; about 500 are Americans.

The flood of new names began after the failed Christmas 2009 bombing of a Detroit-bound jetliner.

The government lowered the standard for putting people on the list, and then scoured its files for anyone who qualified. The government will not disclose who is on its list or why someone might have been placed on it.

The surge in the size of the no-fly list comes even as the U.S. has killed many senior members of al-Qaida. That's because the government believes the current terror threat extends well beyond the group responsible for the September 2001 attacks.

'Want to cause us harm'
"Both U.S. intelligence and law enforcement communities and foreign services continue to identify people who want to cause us harm, particularly in the U.S. and particularly as it relates to aviation," Transportation Security Administrator John Pistole said in an interview.

The Nigerian man who pleaded guilty in the Christmas 2009 attack over Detroit, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, was listed in a large U.S. intelligence database that includes partial names and relatives of suspected terrorists.

How suspects reach the 'No-Fly' list

That database is a feeder to the broad terror watch list, of which the no-fly list is a component, but only when there is enough information linking the person to terrorism.

Officials believe the U.S. had enough information about Abdulmutallab at the time to put him on the broader terror watch list, which would have helped the intelligence community catch him.

The Christmas attack led to significant changes in how the U.S. assembles its watch list.

Intelligence agencies across the government reviewed old files to find people who should have been on the government's terror watch list all along, plus those who should be added because of the new standards put in place to close security gaps.

Muslims often put on no-fly list without explanation

A senior Homeland Security Department official, Caryn Wagner, told senators Tuesday during an oversight hearing, "We have been able to harness the intelligence from the intelligence community to inform our instruments to keep people out at our borders, to make sure that the wrong people are not getting on airplanes at last points of departure and to make sure that people who shouldn't get them are not receiving immigration benefits from the department."

After the Christmas attack, "We learned a lot about the watch-listing process and made strong improvements, which continue to this day," said Timothy Healy, director of the Terrorist Screening Center, which produces the no-fly list.

Broader threat standard
Among the most significant new standards is that now a person doesn't have to be considered only a threat to aviation to be placed on the no-fly list.

People who are considered a broader threat to domestic or international security or who attended a terror training camp also are included, said a U.S. counterterrorism official who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive security matters.

As agencies complete the reviews of their files, the pace of growth is expected to slow, the counterterrorism official said.

The American Civil Liberties Union has sued the government on behalf of Americans who believe they're on the no-fly list and have not been able to travel by air for work or to see family.

"The news that the list is growing tells us that more people's rights are being violated," said Nusrat Choudhury, a staff attorney working for the ACLU's national security project. "It's a secret list, and the government puts people on it without any explanation. Citizens have been stranded abroad."

The government will not tell people whether they're on the list or why they're on it, making it impossible for people to defend themselves, Choudhury said.

People who complain that they're unfairly on the no-fly list can submit a letter to the Homeland Security Department, but the only way they'll know if they're still on the list is to try to fly again, she said.

While the list is secret, it is subject to continuous review to ensure that the right people are on it and that the ones who shouldn't be on it are removed, said Martin Reardon, former chief of the Terrorist Screening Operations center and now a vice president with the Soufan Group.

'Articulable facts' needed
If a person is nominated to be on the no-fly list, but there is insufficient information to justify it, the Terrorist Screening Center downgrades the person to a different list, he said.

"You can't just say: 'Here's a name. Put him on the list.' You've got to have articulable facts," Reardon said.

On average, there are 1,000 changes to the government's watch lists each day, most of which involve adding new information about someone on the list.

The no-fly list has swelled to 20,000 people before, such as in 2004. At the time, people like the late Sen. Ted Kennedy were getting stopped before flying ? causing constant angst and aggravation for innocent travelers. But much has changed since then.

While thousands more people are on the list, instances of travelers being mistaken for terrorists are down significantly since the government ? not the airlines ? became responsible for checking the list, Pistole said.

Travelers must now provide their full name, birthdate and gender when purchasing an airline ticket so the government can screen them against the terror watch list.

But with the nature of the terrorism threat, it's not likely that the list will dwindle, even as al-Qaida's core leadership is defeated, Reardon said.

"I would argue that even if (al-Qaida) as we know it ceased to exist as of tomorrow, other terrorist organizations or lone wolves with both the intent and capability of carrying out attacks against the U.S. would fill the void," Reardon said. "The consolidated terrorist watch list exists for that very reason."

Once they are identified and placed on the list, he said, "We have a much greater chance of keeping them from entering the country."

Witching wars chapter 1 [/b]

During the height of the war a hunter made his way to the north in an attempted to kill the head, however he was out of his league and the head witch hunter had no choice to intervene discovering the current north head no longer wished to take part in the war. He headed back to the headquarters with this new information but never made it back. Upon his disappearance the hunter that originally comforted the north witch returned t the base meeting with the second in command. Suspicious of the head hunters exchange with the witch. he broke into a secure file room and found something very suspicious that was later found out to be planted by a unknown witch.

Using this file he started a large inner war between the hunters within their base. The second in command with the help other personal, a rouge hunter and two witches managed to calm down the situation and had no choice but to imprison the leaders of the havoc within the bases prison for an undetermined amount of time. The head hunter stayed missing and unfortunly assumed dead and the second in command took over as the head of the witch hunters.

Despite the resolving of the incident in record time, one head witch discovered the rebellion and deemed it an excellent time to strike the hunters, with their numbers and loyalty down. She called a head witch meeting in a disclose hidden space. It is in that meeting room that the second chapter of your story begins. . .

Plot

The witches have always helped people with their problems ever since anyone could remember they have been there. The witch heads however have only been there for the last couple hundred years. The where formed when a powerful witch formed a coven in the north, soon other coven arose and there were four one for each territory. Witch began to gravitate toward these covens and soon it was the way of life.The witch of the east for unknown reasons despised humans thinking them below her. She was bloodthirsty and had soon convinced her coven to hold the same beliefs. They began to destroy towns and rage along the areas surrounding there territories. Eventually the human fought back making the witch hunter force. The witch hunters began killing witches, even ones that belonged to the other covens.

The other covens got involved and soon hate had festered on both sides. Lady South disagreed with this and went to witch hunter to convince them not all witches were bad. She managed to talk to them and the other covens, a treaty was meant. East was angry and soon rallied up the witches again, west at her side. North stayed neutral not wanting any part of the war anymore. Finding it necessary west killed east but ended up killing herself in the process. The witches kept up their assault and Lady West failing to get North involved, killed her taking over her coven as well. West however was soon killed by the witch hunters. With the head Witches gone the witches settled and a fragile peace was constructed both sides watching each other closely.

New heads Witches soon take over and kept the peace. Three more generations lived in peaceful times after that. It wasn?t long however before war broke out again, this time no one was sure how it started ,which side broke their agreement. This war is fought on small battles and takeover there has yet to be a decisive battle. It doesn?t matter anyway war is here and each side needs their leaders to decide what will happen. The question is will they lead this new war into destruction or finally mange to gain real peace?

Obama releases list of top money 'bundlers' (AP)

WASHINGTON ? President Barack Obama's re-election campaign identified its top fundraisers on Tuesday, including 61 people who each raised at least half a million dollars. Altogether, the more than 440 fundraisers collected at least $75 million to help Obama win a second term.

Among them are embattled former New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine. Obama's campaign and the Democratic National Committee late last year returned $70,000 in contributions from Corzine and his wife following questions about the collapse of MF Global, the financial firm Corzine ran.

Corzine is no longer raising money for the re-election, campaign officials said.

The campaign divided the list into four groups based on how much money donors raised: $50,000-$100,000, $100,000-$200,000, $200,000 to $500,000 and those who raised more than $500,000 apiece.

The donors represent a broad network of contributors, many of them longtime Democratic Party stalwarts.

The list includes two fundraisers linked to Solyndra LLC, the California solar company that received a $528 million federal loan and then later declared bankruptcy, prompting a federal investigation. Steve Spinner, an Energy Department adviser, raised at least $500,000 and Steve Westly, a venture capitalist who was an unpaid adviser to the department, raised between $200,000 and $500,000.

Though Obama rejects contributions from lobbyists, his top fundraisers include individuals involved in the business of influencing government.

Michael Kempner, among those who raised more than $500,000, is president and CEO of MWW Group, a public relations firm with a large lobbying business. Kempner himself is not a registered lobbyist.

Sally Susman, another fundraiser in the $500,000-plus category, is executive vice president for policy, external affairs and communications at Pfizer Inc., a job that includes directing the pharmaceutical giant's government relations operations.

California figured most prominently on Obama's roster of big money "bundlers." Sixteen are from California and 13 are from New York.

Top fundraisers include movie producers Jeffrey Katzenberg and Harvey Weinstein, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Actress Eva Longoria was in the second highest tier, bundling $200,000 to $500,000 for Obama's re-election.
